Stay
Ten all-season cabins heated with space heaters, wired with electricity and insulated. Eight cabins sleep 12 people, divided into sections -- 6 on either side. The other two cabins sleep 6 each and are divided into 3 separate rooms with double beds.
Play or Pray
The Fellowship Hall is a custom built multipurpose facility that seats over 200 people, and is equipped with a stage and sound equipment, and tables and chairs. This facility is perfect for weddings, theatre events, concerts, table games and mixing games. Our game room downstairs is fantastic for indoor merriment.

is located conveniently beside the kitchen and can seat about 100 people comfortably. Spacious men's and women's washrooms, upstairs and downstairs are equipped with shower stalls.

Our Beautiful Location
Whispering Pines Camp is located in the Cypress Hills near the townsite of Elkwater, AB. Elkwater serves as a hub of commerce for those enjoying the Alberta side of the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, and shares the same elevation as Banff.
Approximately 35 minutes south-east of Medicine Hat, the Cypress Hills are a year-round recreation area, consisting of a golf course, ski hill, a marina, and six pristine lakes, all within twenty minutes of the Elkwater townsite. The region boasts great fly fishing, skiing and hiking, and of course fantastic camping!
Athletic Pursuits - The camp has sports fields and ball diamond for large group activities and games. Sports equipment available includes footballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, and baseball equipment.
Hiking and other Diversions - Many excellent beach and mountainous-like terrain trails (hiking and walking) surround Whispering Pines Camp. Other options include ping-pong, foosball, air hockey, kids playground, horseshoe pit, craft building, outdoor fireside and outdoor amphitheater in the hills.
Hitting the Mark - The archery range is excellent for archers of all ages and skill levels, complete with a straw bale backstop for safety.
Tuck In! - Run your own tuck shop! Room for a full variety of snacks (candy, chocolate bars, pop, etc.) and clothing items
Relaxing Under the Sun - Lounging in the sand, cooling off at the shoreline, have a leisurely swim, or just soak up the sun, Elkwater Lake just a stone's throw away. You must provide your own lifeguard and equipment.
The World Your Stage - Multipurpose room with connecting stage. Audio/video equipment available in the Fellowship Hall is DVD/VCR/TV units, sound board, microphones and stands, overhead projector and keyboard.
RV'ing Family Fun - We have a handful of sites with hook-ups available for your recreational vehicles while at camp.
